I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and was impressed by its prime location in the city centre. The hotel was in walking distance of the Millennium gallery, where I attended an event, and there were numerous restaurants nearby to choose from. The room was spacious and clean, equipped with all the necessary amenities including a mini-bar and ironing facilities. The staff were very hospitable and provided a warm welcome drink upon arrival. I also appreciated the convenience of their room service and dry cleaning options. The highlight of my stay was definitely the spa and wellness centre which had a wide range of services available. The indoor swimming pool and steam room were particularly relaxing.

This hotel is perfect for anyone seeking a luxurious stay but may not be ideal for families with young children.

my recent stay at a hotel in sheffield was amazing. the staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was nice. the location was incredible, close to the train station and high street. the spacious open lobby plan was a highlight. the room was clean and well-presented, with high-quality facilities such as electric and USB points next to both sides of the bed. it was a great value for money.

The staff were fantastic, the room was spotless with blackout curtains, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. The bed was ultra comfortable, and the central location offered stunning views over the winter gardens. The hotel also had a lovely spa with kind and professional service, and the breakfast buffet had a big selection. I would happily book again.

The hotel is conveniently located down the centre of the lane, making it so close to the town centre. The rooms are spacious and the beds are big and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are great. The staff are friendly and attentive, always aiming to meet our needs. Moreover, the breakfasts are delicious, with a wide selection of food to choose from.

Loved the location of this hotel! I was able to walk to all the great shops and restaurants in the area. The gym was well-equipped and the pool and spa were top-notch. Although my room was basic, it was comfortable and clean. I highly recommend Mercure.
