We loved the location of this hotel, with its stunning view overlooking the river. The fact that there was plenty of free parking on site made it very convenient for us. Additionally, the hotel staff were extremely helpful and even called a taxi for us when we wanted to explore the city without our car. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning. We also appreciated the computer area in the reception, which allowed us to use the printer free of charge.

I had a great time at Ibis Porto Gaia. The hotel staff, particularly one receptionist, were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, although the bedspread made me feel a bit too hot. The free parking was a nice perk, and I enjoyed the walk along the river to Dom Luís I's bridge. The price was lower compared to other places, and the breakfast offered a good variety, although I was disappointed they didn't have omelettes. it was a convenient and pleasant place to stay.

my recent stay at ibis in vila nova de gaia was exceptional! the modern hotel had spacious, clean rooms with great views. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast at ibis kitchen was delicious. i will definitely consider staying with ibis chain again when traveling.

That the hotel was a bit far from the city center. However, this was easily overcome by taking a bus, which was not too far from the hotel.

the ample free parking on site was a great convenience, especially for our road trip. the location was also ideal, as it was a short 5 Euro cab ride away from the Port tasting houses. From there, it was an easy walk across the bridge to the city center. the rooms were clean and although slightly small, it was to be expected from an Ibis. the TV was large with a wide selection of channels, and I appreciated the modern USB plugs provided in the room. the staff at the front desk was exceptional, speaking multiple languages including English and going above and beyond to help us with recommendations and directions. it was an excellent value for money and a perfect choice if you're traveling with a car.
