I recently stayed at a hotel in Setubal and had a wonderful experience. The staff at Novotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The newly refurbished rooms were modern and clean with beautiful wooden floors. The bar and restaurant offered delicious food, and I particularly enjoyed the Bacalhau dish paired with a refreshing Alentejo wine. The breakfast spread was excellent, especially the scrambled eggs which I just couldn't get enough of! The location was convenient, with a short taxi ride to the port and a nearby shopping complex.

The hotel is situated close to great natural heritage sites such as the Sado estuary, the Arrábida mountains and the beaches of Troia. It felt like being in a paradise surrounded by stunning nature.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always available to assist me with anything I needed. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, with staff constantly cleaning and maintaining the property. The room I stayed in was spacious and the bathroom was also very roomy. The hot water in the shower was always hot, which was a nice touch. This hotel is conveniently located near a large shopping center, making it easy to find anything I needed. I also felt very safe here, as the hotel was locked at night and there was always someone at the reception desk.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff incredibly friendly and happy to help with any requests. Stayed for wife's birthday and they surprised us with a birthday cake and drinks. Fantastic swimming pool, perfect for relaxation. Breakfast was one of the best I've had, with a wide selection and friendly staff. Late check out at 2pm. GREAT resort for families, with children's pool and play area. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with big showers. Ample parking and good wifi.

Explored amazing natural sites nearby, but who needs that when you can eat healthy and delicious food and shop till you drop at the mall? Also, played tennis and visited the castle and theater. Fancy!

The hotel is near the highway and quiet. Short distance to the city center. Nice lobby and breakfast area. Mostly nice and fresh common areas. Excellent breakfast, pool, and staff. Comfortable beds.

The hotel is conveniently located on the main Avenue at one of the entrances of the Alegro shopping center. Guests can easily access a variety of shops and amenities just steps away from the hotel. the hotel is very close to a huge shopping centre, making it a great choice for those who enjoy shopping.

One aspect that could be improved is the bathroom. Some guests mentioned that the bathrooms are old-fashioned and in need of refurbishment.

Noisy Neighbors

Our stay at Novotel was simply excellent! The rooms, although a bit outdated compared to the rest of the hotel, were comfortable and very clean. The hotel is located just a walk across the road from the Allegro Shopping Centre, making it convenient for shopping and quick dinners after a day at the pool. One of the highlights was the dedicated play area for kids, equipped with an Xbox, ping pong table, board games, and a movie area with a projector. The adults also had a great time relaxing on the couches by the bar, sipping cocktails in the evenings. The hotel also offers an amazing breakfast with a wide variety of options. With buses stopping at a dedicated bus stop right outside the hotel, getting to the beaches was easy and convenient. it was the best family-friendly hotel in the area, and we can't wait to go back!

I appreciated the presence of a kids corner and a fitness room, catering to both families and business travelers. The strong wifi signal was also a plus, ensuring that I was always connected. I would highly recommend this comfortable hotel for a pleasant stay.

It would have been more convenient if my request for a ground floor room or one near the lift had been met. I had a lot of luggage and had to deal with the inconvenience of not having a available luggage trolley.

The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping mall and local attractions like dolphin watching and wineries are just a short drive away. The swimming pool and children's playground looked great for families with kids.

During my stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations which were not communicated prior to arrival. Some areas of the hotel looked old and dilapidated.
