I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in Funchal for a few nights. The hotel offered lovely large beds in a twin room, and we had the most stunning view of the mountains from our balcony. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold options, including made-to-order eggs and omelettes. The hotel had spacious bar and relaxing areas, as well as plenty of sun beds overlooking the harbor. The internal pool and spa were lovely, and I had an amazing pedicure at the beauty spa. The staff were friendly and informative, and I cannot fault this hotel. Will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff at the Hotel were very helpful and obliging. The rooms were always well cleaned and maintained, and the beds were comfy with large pillows. The hotel had great facilities, including a beautiful outside pool and garden area with stunning views. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool with mini jacuzzi areas and a massage section, as well as the steam room and sauna. The hot tub was also a nice touch with its view of the outside pool. Breakfast was included and we loved being able to enjoy it outside near the pool. a fantastic experience.

I recently had a fantastic holiday on the beautiful island of Madeira. My hotel was very close to the cruise ship terminal, making it convenient for exploring the island. Its location near the center of Funchal meant that I had easy access to shops, bars, and restaurants. The hotel had a lovely pool area where I could relax and enjoy the sunshine. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with spacious bathrooms. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide range of options. One of the highlights was the stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean from my room.

As foreign tourists, we loved the room upgrade and sparkling wine for our engagement trip. The check-in service was awesome! The breakfast was superb, catering well to gluten- and lactose-free diets. The room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The availability of parking space, both at the Casino parking and sometimes in front of the hotel free of charge, was convenient. The hotel had a range of services such as a gym, spa, and dining options, although we didn't have time to try them all. The architecture had a cool 70's "James Bond" theme, adding to the atmosphere. The location was great, with just one hill down to the city center.

We felt at ease and had no complaints.

The hotel's location was ideal, with a short walk or bus ride to the old town, as well as plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. The terrace offered stunning views of the city and surrounding landscape. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We were pleased with the complimentary drinks and the great breakfast options. The hotel's location was fantastic, as it was easy to get around to all the attractions we wanted to see.

We also had trouble ordering room service due to a faulty phone in our room. the rooms felt outdated and could use some updating.

Good size room and bed. Well-equipped bathroom. Convenient location, 10 min walk to center. Excellent pool facilities and clean pool. Affordable price for a 5-star establishment.

We stayed at Pestana Casino Park Hotel for a week on a leisure trip. The hotel's location is perfect, within walking distance of the city center. Our room had a fantastic side sea view, overlooking the mountains and city lights. The breakfast area offers a stunning view of the outdoor infinity pool and ocean during sunrise. The hotel's architecture, designed by Oscar Niemeyer and Viana de Lima, is iconic and beautiful. The staff, especially in the bar and breakfast area, were friendly and chatty, making our experience even more enjoyable.

The low-backed and angular chairs in the public spaces are not very inviting to sit in.
