Dinner had some unexpected service issues but great food.

Impeccable service from staff made us feel welcome.

Our experience was marred by the parking situation, which was incredibly challenging. We struggled to maneuver our bags through narrow streets and up steep steps to reach our room, which added unnecessary stress to our stay. Additionally, the air conditioning was noisy and inefficient, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

Breakfast had outstanding pastries and diverse options.

Parking can be tricky, with narrow streets posing challenges for maneuvering. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was inconsistent, which left something to be desired.

The location provides stunning views from the castle, which you can explore for only 1.5 Euros. It’s well worth the effort, especially during sunset!

pousada de marvao is in a stunning location with incredible views after a day of exploring the charming village. the classic room was cozy and well-kept. we loved the delightful breakfast, especially the delicious cheeses, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. the river pool is a perfect spot to relax and unwind.

The view from my room? Straight fire! Dining area had this awesome vibe with the valley just chillin' right outside. Staff was super nice, served a brekkie full of local goodies. Only bummer was the room was a bit cold when I got there. Can't deal with that, ya know?

Navigating narrow access roads was a stressful endeavor!!! The heating in the rooms could definitely use improvement for a more comfortable stay!!! Limited parking made it a hassle to unload bags!!! Room descriptions should be clearer!!!

The kindness of the staff blew my mind, especially the sweet treat for my dog. And the food? Just lekker! Brekkie had so many options, and the view from the dining area was a total vibe. Plus, the jacuzzi in the morning sun was a cherry on top!

We spent two nights in a cozy classic room, enjoying the spectacular dinner with a range of mouthwatering starters and mains. The breakfast spread was equally impressive. don't miss the delicious pastries! Bring comfortable shoes for exploring the charming village’s narrow streets!

We stayed in a Classic Double Room. It was small but charming, with a lovely carved wooden headboard and an old-fashioned closet. The shower was great, but the room felt a bit chilly at first. The small balcony had a nice view but we didn’t use it due to the cold. Overall, the room has its character, but a little more warmth would’ve been nice.
