Spent Christmas at an amazing romantic country house with lovely views and excellent breakfast options. My partner and I had a room with stunning views of the river and felt like we had the entire property to ourselves. the grounds were beautiful with active stables and a nice break from the city. We loved that we could choose from an extensive breakfast menu and the glassed-in patio offered lovely views. the hotel's location was perfect for us as we were within a 30-minute drive to downtown and had easy access to some of the best beaches in the area.

The hotel's remote location requires a car to get around and access the dining options nearby. while the rates were reasonable, we found the hotel restaurant to be a bit expensive.

We spent four nights at this hotel. The location was perfect with wonderful views of Belem and Lisbon in general across the Tagus. There were ferries nearby to take you across to Belem in 25 mins if you preferred not to drive across the bridge. The staff were very helpful, the food was excellent. Gardens and pool area attractive with plenty of places to lie in shade or sun. It offered a very relaxing peaceful atmosphere with 5 star service. Very personal service by the owners, e.g. transport to train station, specific meals, etc. Excellent view, excellent food. Loved the room. However, this lack of convenience is quickly forgotten once you see the stunning view of the Tejo River and the 25 de Abril Bridge. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, making sure that all your needs are met. The breakfast included is delicious and there are excellent dining options at the restaurant. The pool and garden area is a great place to relax after a day of exploring.

The lunch and dinner at the restaurant can be relatively expensive and the food quality is only okay.
