loved my one night stay in machico. amparo exceeded my expectations. great location in the center, spacious room with a terrace for morning coffee, and a tasty breakfast buffet. good value for money!

The location of the hotel was perfect for my Easter vacation. It was conveniently situated in the center of town, close to all the amenities and attractions. the fact that it had a restaurant on-site was a great advantage, as it meant that I didn't have to venture far for a delicious meal. I particularly enjoyed the steak on a stone, it was a unique and tasty dining experience. the spacious terrace in my room was a delightful surprise, providing a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a coffee in the morning.

While I had a pleasant stay overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the room was a bit on the dark side, with only one balcony door for natural light.
