The property had a convenient location, just a 7-minute drive to Funchal city. The wifi connection was great, and the showers were warm with good drainage. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and clean. The views of the sea were fantastic.

The staff at Villa Lusitania were extremely helpful and provided great advice on where to go on the island. They were truly service-oriented and made our stay enjoyable.

The pool area was surprisingly pleasant and we enjoyed a nice refreshing swim in the not-so-cold water. the fresh towels were changed daily and it was nice to have a grocery store and several restaurants within walking distance. the free parking in front of the hotel was also very convenient and saved us some money on a rental car.

The breakfast was the same every day and lacked variety, making it a bit boring after multiple days. the noise from the street and neighboring rooms was quite loud and disturbed our sleep.
