I had a fantastic stay at a modern and stylish hotel in Porto Gaia. The room was clean and comfortable with a powerful shower and constant hot water. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room was also soundproof, allowing for a peaceful and quiet stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. The highlight was definitely the view from the room, overlooking the picturesque Douro River. The hotel also offered a delicious breakfast with a great variety of food. The staff, although still learning, were extremely helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was ideal, within easy walking distance to Porto city center, but away from the crowds. it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend staying at Rubens Hotels Royal Village Porto Gaia.

Our room at Rubens Hotels Royal Village was bright, cheery, and immaculately maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had hot water and good water pressure. The hotel offered a complimentary wine while they worked on resolving a small issue with our room. The location, although not in Porto itself, was a pleasant retreat with easy tram access to the old town and a quieter atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms and helpful staff.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had a great experience at the Rubens. The accommodation was modern and stylish, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The hotel also offered lunch and dinner options, which were fantastic. They even had car parking available, which was very convenient. The staff, although still learning, were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of Porto, just across the Pont Luis bridge, and they also offer a free shuttle on the tourist train. The hotel arranged an airport taxi transfer for us, and the driver was excellent. it was a great stay and good value for money.

We had a lovely stay at this place. One of the best things about it was its location - just a 15-minute walk down the hill to the river, in what used to be a factory. The staff was so accommodating and helpful, even going out of their way to assist when one of our party had car trouble. The hotel provided a variety of services, from dry cleaning to airport shuttles and tours, ensuring that our every need was met. The room was spacious and provided every amenity we could think of, from soundproofed walls to flat-screen TVs. We especially enjoyed the sun terrace and outdoor swimming pool, which provided a perfect way to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

We would recommend this hotel to all.

On the way back at the end of a long walking day, you can easily get a taxi or use the Metro to the central station over the beautiful bridge. The hotel is situated in a former factory, adding to its unique charm and ambiance.

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel in Vila Nova de Gaia and I must say, it was quite luxurious. The location of the hotel was ideal for getting away from the crowds in the city center, but still just a quick walk across the bridge to get into town. Plus, it was only a 15-minute walk to the river, which was perfect for taking in the beautiful scenery.
