The staff were great and very accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered a wide variety of options. We also appreciated the free use of the pool and sauna, especially on the rainy days. Despite some reviews mentioning a cold pool, we found it to be just fine once we took the plunge. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the island, as it is a short walk to central Ponta Delgada and easily accessible to all the major sights. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
