The hotel is conveniently located near the stop of a hop-on-hop-off tour bus, making it easy for us to explore the city. The reception staff were helpful in providing us with tickets for the tour. Additionally, there were a variety of good restaurants within walking distance, allowing us to enjoy the local nightlife and cuisine.

Some guests mentioned that the bathroom lacked privacy due to a glass wall, which may not be ideal for everyone's comfort.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location was convenient, with shops and cafes nearby, and it was only a short walk to the city center. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a range of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing me to leave my room late at no extra charge. The views from the hotel were fabulous and the pool was a great bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Funchal.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, but still close to some amazing local restaurants. The service was top-notch, with room service, car hire, and laundry services available. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning and a balcony with beautiful views. The hotel also had an outdoor swimming pool and a rooftop pool, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

the price was incredibly low, around 60 Euros per night, and considering the value, I would highly recommend it to others. the staff was perfect and the hotel was clean, making for a comfortable stay. the location was also ideal, offering a perfect view from the room balcony. the room itself was spacious, new, and fresh, with a lovely balcony for sitting and enjoying the surroundings. the hotel's proximity to the AeroBus stop was convenient, making transportation easy. the experience was great and I would definitely return to Vila Baleira.

The noise from the main road could also be a problem for light sleepers.
