We had the most enjoyable hotel experience at this luxurious venue. The atmosphere here is so comfortable and relaxed, it truly feels like a home away from home. The staff are exceptional, going above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Special shout out to Angelo who made our dinner in the restaurant absolutely incredible. The location of this place is perfect for exploring the surrounding area. It is conveniently located just a few meters outside the historical walls, making it easily accessible by bus from Lisbon. Plus, it is just outside of the castle walls, close to EVERYTHING. The room we stayed in was perfectly comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. And the best part? The unique availability of books that could be borrowed to read, adding an extra touch of charm to this already amazing hotel.

In terms of the cons, there is very little to mention. Although the furniture and decor in the bathroom didn't fully fit the rank of the whole estate, it didn't detract from our overall experience.

The location of the hotel was perfect, close enough to the town center for convenience but also peaceful.

We stayed at a unique hotel opposite the station, less than a five minute walk to the walled in part of the town. The room was spacious and well furnished, with a view of the valley. The service was amazing, and the breakfast was too huge for us to finish. The hotel had a cozy library with a fireplace, perfect for relaxing with a book. It was close enough to the town centre, but in the evenings it was peaceful.

The hotel's cozy decor and the live music during dinner on Saturday made our weekend very enjoyable. the breakfast was very good and had a nice make-your-own natural juice. Plus, the hotel was only steps away from the castle walls, making it easy to explore the charming town.

Our room had a smell of humidity, but fortunately, it was the only place with that problem. the hotel had too many murder mysteries on the shelves, which didn't contribute to its literary atmosphere.
