I recently had the pleasure of staying at an amazing 4-star hotel in Portugal. This place is located in a quiet area outside of town, surrounded by a stunning nature reserve. It offers a wide range of amenities and services that made my stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable.

We loved the feel of this place, from the beautiful buildings to the peaceful location. Being surrounded by marine salt marshlands and immersed in total silence was a unique opportunity to blend in with the coastal life of the region. The hotel's history as a tuna fishing village made it even more fascinating. The buffet breakfast was brilliant, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the variety of entertainment options and took advantage of the free shuttle bus into town. The property's landscaping was beautiful, and we loved using the pool and the convenient ferry just outside the property.

This place is a bit far away from the action. However, the hotel's location adjacent to a national park, with close connection to a great beach and the town of Tavira itself, made up for it.

I had a fantastic time at a hotel near Tavira. The location was simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the salt marshes. It was so peaceful and remote, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a large pool area where I could spend the majority of my day lounging in the sun. The option to take a direct boat trip to the beach was a definite highlight. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this hotel for a tranquil and enjoyable stay.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié la proximité de cet hôtel avec le centre-ville. De plus, la chambre était très spacieuse et propre, avec une superbe vue sur la vallée depuis le balcon. Le personnel était également très aimable et serviable, parlant parfaitement français.

La climatisation était absente dans la chambre.

The hotel is located away from the city center, in the historical district of Tavira, which can be easily reached by bicycle. The room was clean and comfortable, with a view of the beautiful river nearby. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, including both hot and cold food. Additionally, the hotel had excellent facilities, such as a swimming pool and a restaurant.

The hotel staff, especially the receptionists, were unfriendly and unhelpful.

Our Christmas stay was fantastic, with great weather and beautiful surroundings. We loved the fact that the hotel is eco-friendly, and the architecture is truly unique. the location is excellent, with easy access to outstanding Atlantic beaches. One of the best aspects was the daily boat rides, which took us to two long white sand beaches nearby. Another advantage was the friendly and efficient staff who provided top-notch service.

We found the room service/towel change to be a bit unpredictable, which was the worst aspect. It would have been nicer to have pool towels at the pool instead of having to go to the spa.

Clean, cozy rooms. Great breakfast. Lovely landscapes and walking paths nearby. Convenient ferry to nearby island. Helpful and professional staff.

Loved the feel of the layout and buildings at Vila Gale. the location near the salt flats and estuary was unique and beautiful. the staff, especially barmen Marco and Paulo, were very nice and helpful. the food and wines in the restaurant were excellent. the swimming pool and swinning area were superb. Enjoyed the Portugese traditional dancing after dinner. Comfy beds and a good breakfast. Boat and beach services were also excellent.
