I enjoyed my long weekend in Puerto Rico. The location was ideal, just a block from the beach and near great restaurants. I recommend making time for the Bacardi Distillery tour, it was interesting and included two free drinks. After exploring the area, we unwinded at the pool, which added to the relaxed vibe. We traveled on a budget, so finding affordable accommodations was a real plus for us.

It was just a top selection for a couple of nights in San Juan with good value for price. The lobby always had incense burning, which gave a nice atmosphere. Try to go during low season for better rates and less crowded beaches.

honestly, i thought the bar being closed was terrible for a boutique hotel. how absurd! and having no hair dryer was just rude. i woudl ve been delighted with some complimentary toiletries for my inconvenience, but i guess that’s too much to ask. i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

the lobby staff were slightly rude, which really set a bad tone for my stay. plus, my mattress was so old and soft, I half-expected to sink into the floor. honestly, i thought a complimentary drink would have been a nice touch, given how uncomfortable everything was. it’s just sad when expectations aren’t met, isn’t it?

My experience at At Wind Chimes was disheartening. The room I checked into had a leak from the ceiling that dripped through the fan, making it impossible to enjoy my stay. I alerted the staff four times about this issue, but it was never addressed. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was not functioning properly, adding to my discomfort during the stay. While I appreciated the tropical vibe of the hotel, the lack of cleanliness left a sour impression.

Oh, the hot dogs from the nearby street vendor were out of this world! Plus, we enjoyed the inviting pool area and loved the comfy beds that cradled us each night. The beach was just a short stroll away—perfect for sunset views!

Our room was a bit tiny, and the shower? Let's just say it had a mind of its own, flooding the floor no matter how we angled the nozzle. But you know what, the vibe of the place still made it feel like home.

The place felt like a cozy little hideaway, just a hop away from the beach. Monica at the front desk was a gem, helpin’ us out in a pinch. Chillin’ by the pool was nice after kickin’ up sand all day. I reckon if they spruced up the bar and added some more flowers, it’d be even nicer.

The hotel has a vibrant, unique charm that really adds to the experience. Its proximity to the beach and local eateries makes it quite convenient. However, finding parking around the area can be challenging, so be prepared to search a bit. Staff assistance could improve for a smoother experience.
