Historic charm in the heart

I loved the Victorian details in my room, especially the stained glass windows and wooden shutters. The location is perfect, just steps from cafes and the bustling Farmer's Market!

WiFi was spotty. Luggage storage was convenient, and 24-hour reception was helpful.

Historic king room had lovely features like high ceilings and a big window facing Alvarado Street. The cleaning was great with free toiletries, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. Fun fitness centre and a hot tub down for relaxation after exploring local restaurants! Breakfast was basic but enough to get by.

Room was unbearably small with no fridge!!! Hot tub was out of order without prior notice!!! Carpets were stained and not well-maintained!!! Room placement should be clearer to avoid disappointment!!!

My recent stay at The Monterey Hotel was delightful. The charming Victorian-style room showcased lovely furnishings and high ceilings, creating a spacious atmosphere. The staff warmly welcomed us, and their assistance with our luggage was much appreciated. We enjoyed the convenience of nearby dining options and the lovely Tuesday Farmer's Market just outside the hotel.

Charming old hotel close to Fisherman's Wharf. really loved the fresh granola bars and coffee in the lobby. it was nice to have a helpful staff member when we needed help with the TV.

This place suits me perfectly, offering amenities like fantastic Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and 24-hour reception. I fondly remember the staff helping me return my forgotten hairbrush. A tip for newcomers, enjoy the cozy fitness centre! I’ll be back for another holiday.

I enjoyed a cozy stay in a King Room with charming decor. The location was perfect for exploring local attractions. A tip, charge your devices at the desk, as outlets near the nightstand are limited. Overall, a pleasant experience despite minor inconveniences like occasional street noise.

Plus, the walls were super thin, so you heard everything from the hallway. A bit dark too, with the hallway lights shining through the cracks. Kinda made sleeping tough. The location was great for walking around, but the sleep quality wasn't great due to all the noise.
