The rooms were clean and modern, with a good size, a private bathroom, and a small balcony. the staff was friendly and helpful. the location of the hotel was convenient, close to the Poenari Castle and Lake Vidraru. Another advantage was the on-site restaurant, which made it convenient to get meals since there weren't many options within walking distance.

The hotel was not fully operational, and some amenities were missing or inadequate. the central heating was not yet installed, and the temporary electric solution was not sufficient to keep the rooms warm.

The noise level from other guests was a problem at night, there were no silent hour rules enforced and no reception overnight. there was a lack of amenities in the room such as a fridge and a hairdryer, which would have been useful.
