i had a lovely stay at autograph collection. the room was beautifully decorated and clean, with a lovely view of the grounds and lake. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our christmas eve and day very special. the live music, delicious meals, and natural serene atmosphere made for a relaxing getaway. i will definitely return in the future for another enjoyable stay.

The lake view from our spacious and clean room at African Pride Irene Country Lodge was incredibly relaxing. The housekeeping staff was so friendly and helpful, and we loved the delicious pizza and burgers. Although there were some issues with pool cleanliness and noise from nearby construction, the overall experience was great.

As women traveling alone, we loved the spacious rooms, separate toilet, pillow menu, and stunning restaurant with live music.

We had a wonderful romantic escape! We loved the complimentary bubbly and rose petals, the delicious dinner, and the poofy bed in a heavenly location with stunning views of the lake and meadows. the nature walk was a highlight, and we even spotted monkeys. the staff were amazing, and we enjoyed the nearby deli.

The gym was tiny with just a few cardio machines and dumbbells, and the hotel showed signs of wear and tear.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the expensive prices for meals and drinks, and the limited facilities for kids, these did not overshadow the positive aspects of our stay.

Located by a serene lake, surrounded by stunning nature, and still conveniently close to the airport, African Pride Irene Country Lodge offers a perfect getaway. Guests can take leisurely walks around the lake, enjoying the tranquility and observing the wildlife. If looking for dining options outside of the complex, there are restaurants nearby to satisfy one's cravings. The rooms are comfortable, with spacious bathrooms and great service. The breakfast spread is delicious, and the staff ensures guests feel right at home. Some rooms even offer beautiful views of the surroundings.

There were occasional instances of slow service in the restaurant.

This hotel offers exclusive amenities that fulfilled my luxurious needs. the Spa & wellness centre provides amazing body treatments and massages that left me feeling rejuvenated. the swimming pool and outdoor lounging areas are surrounded by a beautiful garden area, giving me the opportunity to relax under the sun.

Although the staff was helpful and friendly, the service at the restaurant was slow and somewhat disorganised at times. this minor issue did not affect my overall experience at this hotel.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated with heavy curtains and blackouts, ensuring a peaceful sleep-in. The quality of the mattresses and pillows was excellent, and they even offered a Pillow Menu for added comfort. In-room dining was done stylishly, providing value for money, and the food was absolutely delicious. The Cheese board was a must-try!

One small issue we encountered was that the plugs for the basin and bath were not working properly in all the rooms. The rubber O-rings were worn out, causing inconvenience during our stay.
