Located in a convenient area, close to the Waterfront and the city's attractions, this hotel offers easy access to all you need. The rooms are clean and modern, with attentive service from the friendly staff. The breakfast is fresh and delicious, and the hotel even has a DVD library for entertainment.

The noise from the front gate or kitchen can be a bit disruptive at times.

We recently stayed at Cape Diem Lodge for five wonderful days during our South Africa trip. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful, especially Tems who assisted us with travel planning and evening arrangements. The villa itself is tastefully furnished and provided a comfortable oasis to come back to after a long day of exploring. We loved the stylish rooms, the relaxing communal areas, and the delicious breakfast. The location is also convenient, with great restaurants just a short walk away.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Started the new year in a charming renovated house that kept its historic atmosphere. the attention to small details was exquisite. Continental breakfast was outstanding and included a wide selection of hot meals. Best of all was the large patio attached to the room, perfect for having breakfast or taking a relaxing break. the location was ideal, near to the major attractions.

Cellular reception was poor; however, it was not the hotel’s fault.

I stayed at Carpe Diem Lodge for two nights and it was absolutely fantastic. The attention to detail and the amazing crew made my stay memorable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a large swimming pool and a lovely area to relax and chill. The location is great and in a safe area. The breakfast was delicious and they even had a complementary buffet tea time in the afternoon. I only wish I had stayed longer, but I will definitely be coming back if I return to the area.

Scrumptious breakfast with a wide selection of dishes, including champagne. Stunning views of the mountains and a great location to explore the area. The live jazz at The Crypt was a highlight, plus Asoka for dinner and dancing.

I was so disappointed that the rooftop sundeck didn't come with my own personal butler. How am I supposed to relax without someone catering to my every whim?

We had an absolutely luxurious experience at this hotel! the exclusive amenities, including the beauty treatments and massages, fulfilled all of our needs. the outdoor swimming pool was a wonderful place to relax and unwind, with comfortable sun loungers and a peaceful garden area. the hotel staff provided exceptional service, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The only minor downside was the lack of shade around the pool area, which made it difficult to escape the hot sun on very hot days. the sun terrace was a lovely alternative for those seeking shade.
