my stay in lisdoonvarna was great, but this time it exceeded my expectations during a luxurious holiday. the staff's warmth and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable, especially how they made us and our dog feel welcomed. the food quality and cleanliness impressed me beyond belief.

the noise from live music was disruptive.

the room was tiny and basic, definitley not what i’d expect for €178 on a Sunday night. the bedding was poor, and it’s shocking that the shower was so hard to get in and out of. a complimentary upgrade woudl ve been nice, but alas. i almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn’t.

Hotel had live music every night that created a cool vibe! The food was totally a step above, especially the stew. Super friendly staff that knew the area well! They helped me with tourist info like a local!

Nothing to improve upon.

I absolutely loved staying at the Rathbaun Hotel! The warm welcome from the owner and her daughters made me feel right at home. With a made-to-order breakfast served until noon and a cozy atmosphere, it was the perfect base for exploring the Burren and finding local entertainment at nearby pubs.

It was just a fine choice for a city holiday in Lisdoonvarna with incredible value for money. The food was definitely satisfactory, but the atmosphere was overshadowed by the staff treatment I witnessed.

We enjoyed live music and dancing at the hotel, which made our stay even more fun! The kids loved that we could explore the Cliffs of Moher nearby, and we were thrilled that our pet felt welcomed too.

My wife says that the rooms could use some updating.

I had a fantastic stay where I felt welcomed from the get-go, with friendly service and delicious breakfast that made each morning special. I loved that I was just a short stroll away from the lovely Doolin Garden and Nursery and the charming Matchmaker Bar, which added delightful local experiences to my trip.

The overall experience was delightful, especially thanks to the exceptional staff who treated us like family and offered invaluable local recommendations. Meals featured some excellent beef dishes, which showcased the hotel's commitment to quality. However, the noise from live music in the evenings could be disruptive at times. Additionally, while the room was clean and cozy, the lack of a lift made navigating the property a bit challenging for some guests.
