The location was great, central to attractions. The accommodation was clean and well-stocked. Kaybee provided excellent service. Unfortunately, the playground was messy, equipment damaged, and some staff unfriendly. Maintenance issues like dirty carpets and faulty plugs were present. a mixed experience with some drawbacks but highlights like the fireplace and breakfast variety.

LOVED the breakfast with generous portions. Not having to unpack everything was a plus. Would definitely choose it again. the rooms are even better than in photos!

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, even late at night. The night porter went above and beyond, even starting a fire in our room for us. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we enjoyed a specially cooked breakfast. The surroundings were magnificent, perfect for an early morning walk in the beautiful grounds. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and peaceful stay, with excellent service.

Spontaneously booked a romantic getaway and was pleasantly surprised! Liked the variety at breakfast, the well-stocked room, and the beautiful surroundings. Best aspects were the relaxing atmosphere and the two swimming pools. We also appreciated the complementary wine and chocolates, as well as the stunning mountain views from our room.

Disliked the grumpy hostess and the mediocre suppers. Worst aspects also included dirty carpets and sticky tables in the dining area.

Situated between the mountains, Houw Hoek Hotel offers a tranquil and peaceful retreat. The spacious rooms provide a comfortable stay with a lovely view of the hill in front. The breakfast selection is great, with a good variety to choose from. The hotel's bar service is excellent, adding to the overall enjoyable experience of the stay.

The top pool can get crowded due to the number of cottages surrounding it, making it difficult to find a suitable place to sit.

The hotel also had excellent facilities for families, including an outdoor play area which kept the little ones entertained.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming inn for a Saturday night dinner and dance. The value for money was amazing, with clean rooms and high standard amenities. The traditional 3-course dinner was delicious, especially the steak. The DJ played old school tunes that had everyone dancing. The next morning, breakfast offered extras like champagne, vegan options, and gluten-free bread. a fun and enjoyable adult weekend experience with great value for money. Despite a minor disappointment with coffee quality, we highly recommend this inn for a memorable getaway.
