The carriage itself is beautifully decorated, with modern and clean interiors that pay homage to the history of the train. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. The game drives are a definite highlight, with knowledgeable guides who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience.

My wife and I had the most wonderful stay at Shalati. The location inside a converted train is truly unique and the accommodation is 5-star luxury. The game drives were amazing, and the little details like hot water bottles for morning game drives made a difference. we had an amazing experience at Shalati.
