The value for money at this hotel was excellent. The prices were affordable and the quality of service was exceptional. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with easy access to the wildlife estate and even outdoor showers. Taking a shower under the stars was a delightful experience. The location of the hotel, behind the mountains in the greater Kruger area, provided a beautiful and serene backdrop for a perfect stay.

All was fantastic and memorable.

During our stay, we were delighted to find that the lodge was conveniently located near a variety of fantastic restaurants in the area. We were able to easily explore the local culinary scene without having to venture too far from our accommodation. Additionally, the lodge's proximity to Kruger National Park allowed us to easily access the park for exciting wildlife encounters.

One aspect that could be improved is the temporary breakfast setup. However, this is expected to change as the lodge undergoes expansion and renovation.

This hidden gem exceeded our expectations with its beautiful decor and stunning garden. We loved the picnic dinner and the English breakfast was superb! the property is surrounded by nature and we even had some visits from the local wildlife. the air conditioning in the bedroom and living room worked extremely well, a real lifesaver in the hot weather. the coffee machine was a winner for us coffee lovers.

Although we had a lovely stay, we would have appreciated more amenities such as a gym or spa on-site. It was also quite a drive to get to the nearby city attractions, but the peace and quiet of the location made up for it.
