As bike riders, we loved exploring the stunning surroundings and wildlife on the daily game drives and experiencing the thrill of tracking animals. The knowledgeable guides made each ride informative and exciting. The lodge's location provided breathtaking views of the river, adding to the overall charm of our stay.

We felt like part of the Pondoro family and were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. There is absolutely nothing to complain about during our stay.

Our 3-night stay at Pondoro was absolutely incredible! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, even surprising us with romantic gestures throughout our honeymoon. The game drives were amazing, with Rul, Andries, and America ensuring that we saw as many animals as possible. The food and drink were top-notch, with fine dining in the bush and delicious meals provided throughout the day. The suite we were upgraded to had breathtaking riverside views. The attention to detail and personalized touches made our stay at Pondoro a little piece of heaven on earth.

We recently celebrated our Honeymoon at Pondoro. From start to finish, the staff treated us like royalty. The Tree room was spacious and luxurious, with a private terrace and stunning view of the Olifants river. The safari adventures were extraordinary, with daily sightings of the big five. The food was delicious, with unique options like impala and ostrich. The candlelight dinner by the river was a magical experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, and Pondoro is now our favorite hotel!

We did A LOT of research on where to stay for our visit to Kruger and it can get quite overwhelming with so many options. What I will say is just book Pondoro, it was EXCEPTIONAL from start to finish. The food and drink is incredible quality from breakfast through to dinner and all of the staff were welcoming, warm and went above and beyond on everything. The game drives are the reason you go to Kruger and these could not have been better at Pondoro. The drivers and spotters are incredibly talented, experienced, and hugely respectful of the wildlife. We saw all of the big five and some hugely exciting encounters. The room was fantastic with a lovely bath inside and a stone bath outside that overlooked the river. Having a jacuzzi with a glass of bubbles while watching elephants and hippos in the river was quite the experience!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff were friendly, genuine, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, with the rooms being cleaned twice a day and the turn down service being a thoughtful touch. The hotel facilities were excellent, from the spa treatments to the delicious food served at every meal. The location of the hotel was perfect, offering beautiful riverside views and close proximity to the game drives. The breakfasts were a highlight, with a variety of options to choose from and freshly squeezed juices. The staff were always attentive and accommodating, making our stay truly memorable.

During my stay at Pondoro Game Lodge, I was blown away by the attention to detail and the overall experience. The lodge itself was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The game drives were nothing short of thrilling, as we encountered a wide variety of incredible animals. Our ranger and tracker, Soli and Ramson, were not only knowledgeable but also great at explaining everything to us. The staff at the lodge were friendly and always ready to help, with Armand providing clear explanations and making us feel welcome. The food was delicious and the wines were top-notch. I had a truly marvelous time at Pondoro Game Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of an unforgettable retreat.

Our stay at Pondoro Game Lodge was exceptional! The staff were welcoming and helpful, the location was remote and beautiful, and the suites were fantastic. The game drives and bushwalk were great, although some more explanation about the animals would have been nice. The food and wine were amazing, and the lodge offered a variety of activities. We loved the boutique feel and the attention to detail. Highly recommended!
