This hotel is great value for money, especially considering the beautiful location in the mountains of Stellenbosch. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with comfortable beds and stunning views over the De Zalze winery. The staff are friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

The only small issue we encountered was with the WiFi, which was a bit unreliable.

The facilities include an Olympic-sized pool and volleyball court. There are 2 on-site restaurants, providing a variety of food. Halal breakfast is prepared separately with an amazing view. Spacious, clean rooms with helpful and friendly staff. Secure location with beautiful views of the wine lands and mountains.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Protea Hotel. The room was clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist us with any request we had. The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a variety of options. The hotel's location was convenient, close to local markets, wine farms, and supermarkets. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel. it was a great experience.

The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The friendly staff provides excellent service and makes you feel welcome. The breakfast spread is delicious and diverse, offering something for everyone. The hotel boasts a variety of facilities including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing dip, and a volleyball court for some energetic fun.

There were occasional issues with the availability of towels, causing inconvenience.

Spending Xmas at this resort was truly relaxing. the views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards were breathtaking. the rooms were spacious and comfortable with helpful staff ready to make our stay memorable. We loved the outdoor braai facilities and the beautiful swimming pool. the restaurant was the standout feature with the food being delicious and value for money.

The parking area was far from our room and on rainy days, it was challenging to get to and from the reception area. A bit of an inconvenience during winter as it gets cold and wet in the area.
