Nothing it was perfect.

We simply loved staying here! The location is perfect - it's in a very convenient area to visit many venues around here. The place is right above a dam with beautiful rural surroundings. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to help with any request, from room service to shuttle service. The amenities in the room, from the comfortable beds to the free Wi-Fi, make for a wonderful stay.

The water temperature in the shower, but this was only a small issue. We definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

This allowed us to easily explore the various attractions in the area, such as the Midlands Meander, which was conveniently located nearby. The staff were absolutely fantastic, going out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. From the friendly waiters at reception to the attentive room service, we were impressed with the level of service provided. The amenities in the room were also top-notch, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including free Wi-Fi, a terrace, and tea/coffee facilities.

As a solo traveler, I loved the warm fires and homely lounges - perfect for cozying up during a chilly weekend. The pub at the hotel is a great attraction, always filled with friendly people. The pub meals were fantastic, especially the rich and tasty beef pie. The staff, particularly George, are warm and friendly, making you feel like part of the family.

During my recent stay at Rawdons in Nottingham Road, I had a truly comfortable and enjoyable experience. The hotel's location provided me with breathtaking views, reminiscent of the English countryside. I was lucky enough to have a room overlooking the dams, where I could watch a variety of birds and fall asleep to the soothing sound of frogs.

The setting is picturesque with beautiful views of the dam, providing a serene backdrop. The restaurant offers a delightful breakfast with accommodating staff. The hotel itself exudes old-world charm, complete with an inviting library and cozy pub. The team goes above and beyond in providing excellent service with a genuine smile. The family suite offers a stunning lake view, making it a perfect choice for families.

It was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, with plenty of local attractions nearby. The Lake Cottage was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone. The helpful staff made up for the slightly slow service in the pub. a truly amazing stay!
