I had an incredible stay at a charming guesthouse in Cape Town. The staff went above and beyond when I lost my luggage, providing me with essentials and even a temporary shirt. The location was convenient, and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely breakfast, good variety with fruit and English options. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Philip and Steven. Appreciated the honesty bar and efforts during loadshedding. Good location, secure and reminiscent of the Lake District in the UK.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely establishment, well positioned in a beautiful environment with incredible mountain views. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, while the friendly and helpful staff made us feel at home. The breakfast, served in a nice area, was delicious and carried us throughout the day. We also enjoyed the pool area and the attractive downstairs area.

The house could use some attending to, as it appeared somewhat tired in certain areas.

The honesty bar was a nice touch, allowing us to enjoy a drink whenever we wanted. The staff were friendly, patient, and always ready to help. The highlight of our stay was the delicious and freshly prepared breakfast, which kept us full throughout the day. The attention to detail in cleaning was exceptional, making the room and the entire hotel exceptionally clean. We felt truly pampered and enjoyed our independent stay.

Had a great Christmas here. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of fresh fruit and great coffee. The view of the mountains from the pool area was a bonus. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. We enjoyed the free parking and being close to the major sites you won't want to miss. We felt welcomed here and well taken care of.

The WiFi was a bit unreliable for some of our stay, which made it difficult to plan our excursions. , the traffic noise from the nearby street was a bit loud at times.

We had a wonderful stay at Roodenburg House. The location was excellent, offering a secure and peaceful environment. The staff were incredibly friendly and took great care of us. We loved the colonial style of the house, which added an elegant touch to our experience. The "honesty bar" was a unique and enjoyable feature, allowing us to purchase and pour our own drinks, like wine, at our convenience. The overall ambiance reminded us of the charming Lake District in the UK.
