I absolutely loved the super speed wifi in my room - streaming movies was a breeze! the view from my window was simply breathtaking, overlooking the city skyline and the sparkling lights below.

I walked a fair bit to get into town for a cab. But the flip side? the elevated spot offers fab views. Only stayed one night, but two would have been even better—sacrifice a Plett night for here! the room featured a patio and a kitchenette. Tasty free buffet breakfast with fun options. the lake view from my room was a nice touch. An enjoyable stay overall—would recommend it for nature lovers like me. Wakakaka!

The view from the top of the mountain at Somervreug Guesthouse was absolutely breathtaking. The warm welcome from Wendy and her helpful suggestions made us feel right at home. The modern and clean facilities were comfortable, and the attention to detail, like the fruit plate for breakfast, was impressive. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautifully renovated guesthouse. The room was incredibly comfortable and felt like a 5-star hotel. The view of the lagoon and Knysna Heads was absolutely breathtaking, and waking up to it every morning was a dream. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure our stay was enjoyable. The delicious breakfast with a view was a treat, and the pool area was perfect for relaxation. We will definitely be returning to this incredible hotel in the future!

The views were breathtaking and the breakfasts were varied and delicious. the location was convenient as it was close to many attractions and activities. We also enjoyed taking a dip in the refreshing pool.

the room did not seem to have been thoroughly cleaned as we found other people's hair on the towels and dust in the tea cups. It was also unsettling that there was no one manning the front desk at night, which made us feel a bit unsafe.

The location of the guesthouse was superb, being close to the mall and within easy reach of all the attractions in the area. The room we stayed in was sparkling clean and had a breathtaking view of the lagoon. The bathroom had a double walk-in shower which was a nice touch, and the service provided by the friendly staff was commendable. Moreover, the buffet breakfast prepared by Wendy and Sphe was delicious and catered to our dietary preferences.

One downside was the distance from the guesthouse to the town, making it a bit inconvenient to walk.
