We were blown away by the stunning views from our room overlooking the beach. The sound of the sea was incredibly soothing and made our stay extra relaxing. The rooms themselves were beautifully designed and of top-notch quality. The infinity pool in our house with its comfortable deck chairs was the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast experience was impeccable, with a delightful selection of hot items served a la carte. The staff were friendly, helpful, and well-informed. our stay at this 5* hotel was a true treat with attention to detail and impeccable service.

The hotel is located on a bay with a long beach, providing easy access to a beautiful stretch of sand via a footpath. Guests can enjoy the convenience of being close to the beach and restaurants, making it a great location for a wedding. The rooms offer stunning views of the ocean, with some suites even providing a balcony overlooking the water. The staff is attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, with special mention to Honest, the talented cocktail maker, and Tammy, who brings joy with every drink or dish.

There were a couple of minor issues during our stay, such as a broken air conditioning unit in one of the suites that took a few hours to be resolved. there were some small maintenance issues like a broken cupboard door and a falling-off doorknob in the bathroom.

I recently stayed at The Plettenberg Hotel for 2 nights during my son's rugby tour. The location is amazing, with stunning views of the bay and the sea. The decor in the sitting areas is tasteful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is excellent, providing great service and attention to detail. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the cocktail bar is well-manned. The hotel has the charm of an old established place, with all the luxuries of a modern hotel. I would love to stay there again.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage. Nice balcony with sea view. Staff were attentive and gave good advice. Food was excellent from breakfast to dinner.

The food was good and well presented and the staff were generally very polite and attentive. The location was perfect and within walking distance to the beach. The massage was also fantastic, one of the best we have ever had!

The room was small and overpriced, the view was nothing special and there was a lot of noise from other guests. The laundry service was outrageously pricey and the Wi-Fi connection was very poor.

Luxury is an understatement at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, my needs were catered to with exclusive amenities and perfect service. The Spa & wellness centre is a must-try, the full body massage was heavenly, and the outdoor swimming pool offers stunning views of the beach. The room was also equipped with a private balcony that had a beautiful garden area.

The beach access was not as good as I expected, and there was no leisure or TV room for a relaxing pastime. Nevertheless, this hotel is an excellent choice for an elegant and special vacation.
