The ambience of the hotel was great, with a beautiful view of the surrounding wine farm. The room was tastefully furnished and the bed was comfortable. We even received a complimentary wine in the room, although it was dropped in the toilet.

The breakfast had very limited choice and when we asked for an omelette, we were told that we could only have what was served on the table. The lack of a restaurant in the evening meant we had to sleep hungry and wake up to an unsatisfactory breakfast.

The Salene Hotel & Cottages offered beautiful scenery and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were tastefully furnished and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the complimentary wine in the room, although it was a bit odd finding it dropped in the toilet!

Communication with the staff was quite frustrating as we were not able to reach anyone when we had an emergency. there was no food available to order after lunchtime and the evening honesty bar was not well stocked with snacks and drinks.

The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The cottages were clean, well-equipped, and had modern designs. The location was great, and the main bedroom was spacious.

The hotel also offered a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
