As a couple, we absolutely loved our stay at this amazing hotel. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and had every little detail thought of. The staff was incredible, going above and beyond to help us book a last-minute restaurant reservation and assist with any other requests we had. The location was perfect, overlooking the river and just a short walk from Pontocho. The breakfast served in the room was delicious and convenient. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and comfortable stay in Kyoto.

I gotta say, Hotel Alza Kyoto really gave me bang for my buck. The room was top-notch, with spaciousness and fancy decor that blew me away. Plus, the location was super convenient, right by the river and a short walk from the Metro station. And the staff? Absolutely wonderful, treating me like royalty from the moment I walked in.

Now, don't get me wrong, my stay at Hotel Alza Kyoto was fantastic. But if there's one thing that could've been better, it's the breakfast items.

The location of Alza was perfect for exploring Gion and the downtown area. I could easily walk to many places I wanted to visit and the nearby Sanjo Station was convenient for taking the train. The room was spacious, comfortable, and kept warm in winter. The highlight of my stay was when the female staff surprised me with champagne to celebrate my birthday. It was a lovely gesture that made my stay even more memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience and comfortable rooms.

We had an amazing stay at a hotel in Kyoto. the room was spacious, which was a pleasant surprise for us. the staff were extremely kind and helpful, especially considering we were traveling with a baby. the location was perfect, as it was close to all the attractions we wanted to visit and within walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Additionally, the breakfast that was included and brought to our room each morning was delicious.

The only downside we experienced was that the blanket provided was quite thick and warm, which made us feel a bit too hot during the night. It would have been nice to have a thinner and less warm blanket option available.

The bathroom was great, especially the bathtub, and it was stocked with nice amenities. I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Alza and I would highly recommend it to others.

The only minor drawbacks were that the Japanese style breakfast wasn't to my liking and the shower only stayed on for 60 seconds at a time. However, these were very small details and didn't affect my overall enjoyment of the hotel.
