I had a truly luxurious stay at this 4-star hotel in the Franschhoek valley. The location was perfect, nestled in a serene and peaceful garden. The suite I stayed in was incredibly spacious and the bathroom was immaculate. The staff were friendly and professional, going above and beyond to make my stay special. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with a delightful selection served on the terrace or inside the hotel. The views and surroundings were as beautiful as the pictures, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The location is quite close to the village and near to all Franschhoek attractions. Rooms are stunning with underfloor heating, and the beds are great. The staff is extremely lovely and helpful, especially the ladies at breakfast who couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious with a continental selection laid out and hot breakfast made to order. The accommodation also has beautiful gardens, a large pond, and a lovely swimming pool.

There were some maintenance issues, such as broken toilet seat hinges and a tripping microwave.

The staff warmed the room in advance and provided a decent breakfast with fresh fruit and a cooked option. a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. I would recommend this place for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Comped for one night stay due to the bad experience, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction. Generous and freshly prepared breakfast served in a pleasant dining area. Friendly and efficient staff providing a warm welcome and ensuring a hassle-free stay. Spectacular grounds with a pool and abundant wildlife, creating a tranquil environment. Shared use of a well-appointed lounge and kitchen, which was an unexpected and appreciated amenity. The gentleman at reception provided excellent service, handling everything efficiently. Large and spacious bedroom and bathroom with comfortable amenities. Complimentary tea, coffee, water, and fruit in the rooms, along with cable TV. a lovely time spent and would definitely recommend Val D Or Estate.

We loved the hotel's convenient location in a pleasant neighborhood, with easy walking distance to Euston station, Regents Park, Oxford St, Soho. The hotel is also close to the tube network, making it easy to explore the city. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service, with friendly and helpful interactions throughout our stay.

Mijn verblijf in dit hotel was absoluut fantastisch! Het hotel heeft een geweldige sfeer - rustig maar toch gezellig. De kamers waren ongelooflijk schoon en het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het voelde meteen als thuis. Het hotel heeft ook een prachtig terras met een heerlijk zwembad. Daarnaast is de locatie perfect, midden in het centrum van de stad, in de buurt van de kerk en op het plein. Ook was er ondergrondse parking beschikbaar, wat erg handig was. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en heerlijk, en het personeel zorgde voor een perfect kopje koffie. Alles was gewoonweg uitmuntend - van de hygiëne van het sanitair tot de bediening en netheid. Ik kan niet wachten om weer in dit hotel te verblijven!
