I was informed that the twin room I wanted was only subject to availability upon check-in, which was stressful. On arrival, I was relieved to get the twin room, but it was a bit concerning that I couldn't have that peace of mind beforehand. Additionally, the carpets in the hallway had a lingering damp smell that was quite off-putting during my stay.

The location is fantastic! It's just a short walk to Chinatown, and the pool area offers a stunning city view. The breakfast had many choices that were enjoyable!

Despite good service, the light switch system was confusing, and the air conditioning was difficult to control. The deposit process was also off-putting and cumbersome.

i had a great stay at carlton city hotel! the location is super convienent, just a short walk to the mrt and tons of bars and restaurants nearby. the staff was really friendly, especially this guy named shah who helped me when i was totally soaked after a rainstorm. also, the buffet lunch at the plate was so delish and the staff there were really attentive. beds are comfy and the room was nice too!

but breakfast could be a bit more exciting and the gym is kinda small.

my stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable, especially with the great hospitality from the concierge staff who made our anniversary special, and the hotel's prime spot made it super easy to stroll to attractions like the Singapore City Gallery and Chinatown Heritage Centre, both just a short walk away.

My stay was enjoyable with helpful concierge staff who offered great suggestions for local food and attractions. I liked that the location was convenient to many dining options and down the street from a metro station. I appreciated the spacious room and its view of the city. I had a minor issue with seeing the sunlight through the blinds in my room, but I didn’t mind too much as I was mostly out and about exploring.

The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to the MRT station, with an abundance of excellent dining options nearby. The clean room featured a comfortable bed and pillows that made for restful nights. Exceptional service from the staff, particularly at the reception, added a thoughtful touch to the stay, highlighted by a surprise complimentary cake for a birthday celebration. Enjoying the fruit buffet was a delightful treat too.

the concierge staff are super friendly and helped us plan our days in the city , giving great suggestions for food and attractions. the breakfast spread was top-notch with plenty of options to choose from!

Had a fabulous stay with a spacious room featuring a comfy mattress. The buffet lunch was delightful, especially with attentive staff ensuring a great experience. The club room breakfast could use more variety, though.
