The prices for food and drinks were quite high, which seemed to be the norm for Singapore in general. Additionally, the swimming pool was small and the charge for using the tennis courts was excessive.

The food at the hotel's Straits Kitchen was absolutely incredible. We tried a variety of dishes and they were all delicious. Another great aspect was the location of the hotel. It was conveniently situated near major attractions and public transportation options, making it easy for us to explore the city. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay.

On the downside, the hotel could use some renovations. The pool area was not well-maintained, with towels left on the ground and no pool attendant to assist guests.

The manager went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable - free snorkel gear hire, daily water & fruit bowl. Reasonably priced food with fantastic service. Personalized letters and welcome banner upon checking in. Excellent service, even during unearthly hours. Large room, firm bed, hot & forceful shower. Good location.
