At Christmas, we had a great time staying at a hotel that was perfectly located just across from the beach. The staff were really lovely and helpful when we had questions. We enjoyed the wide variety of food offered at breakfast and dinner, including a lot of vegetarian options. The beds were comfortable so we slept well.

The hotel was quite basic and could benefit from some maintenance as there were some areas that felt quite tired. There wasn't much to do in the hotel for kids, but as we were out exploring, this wasn't a big issue for us.

We had a fantastic stay at Medplaya Hotel in Benalmadena. The breakfast times were excellent and the meals were prepared well with a great choice. The hotel's location was fantastic, right by the promenade and easy to explore all the places of interest in the resort. The local buses and trains made it convenient to travel around the Costa Del Sol. The hotel areas were all very clean and there was plenty of accommodation in the lounge areas for us to relax. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a superior room, which had a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities, along with a lovely sea view. a great experience!
