We had a fantastic stay at the hostel! Bastardo is in a great location, just a short walk from Gran Via and central Madrid. the rooms were spacious and offered more privacy than other hostels we've stayed at. They were also bright and very clean. the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and we loved spending time in the rooftop garden, enjoying a coffee in the sun.

I recently stayed at Bastardo in Madrid for a few nights and it was fantastic! The beds were spacious and private, the rooms and facilities were always clean, and the location was perfect. The hotel also had great security measures in place. a wonderful experience that I would gladly repeat.

The lack of rails on the upper bunks may pose a safety concern, especially for those who tend to move around while sleeping.

My stay at Bastardo was absolutely fantastic. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of Madrid and close to all the major attractions. The hotel had a great boutique vibe and I felt safe throughout my stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping was consistently excellent. I also loved the fact that there were plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. my experience at Bastardo exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.

Loved staying at Bastardo Hostel! We felt like part of a family with the energetic staff. The open space with a bar, restaurant, and bleachers for events was so cool. The rooms were comfy, with modern finishes and were always clean. Every day and night, there was something fun happening, whether it was an event or activity. The hostel's location was perfect - close to everything in the city, yet in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The rooftop area was magical, with twinkling lights and cozy conversation areas. The staff was professional and the live music added to the great atmosphere. a fantastic experience at Bastardo!

loved our stay at this retro hostel, it surpassed our previous madrid experience. staff went above and beyond, showers were great, and the kitchen was well-equipped. felt safe and had a fabulous time. highly recommend for single travelers, especially females.
