The hostel offered spacious dorm rooms, with only one bunk bed which made it feel more open. The little balcony was a great addition to sit out on. The breakfast in the morning was tasty and a nice way to start the day. The hostel was conveniently located just a short walk away from the center of the town where all the main attractions were. The staff was super friendly and their English was good. It was a great place to stay for solo travelers, backpackers, or anyone on a budget.

During my stay in xmas, there were a few mosquitoes which was a bit bothersome, but the host kindly provided a fan and a citronella candle to help keep them away. there were some resident dogs in the communal areas downstairs which made some noise in the night.

loved my second stay in girona. can cocollona was even better this time. cozy house, friendly staff, and great breakfast. the dog and cat in the yard made it feel like home. can't wait to come back and explore more of girona next time!

I recently stayed at a lovely hostel in Girona and it was truly one of the nicest I've ever experienced. The homely family vibe and the friendly ladies who run the place made me feel right at home. The facilities were perfect, offering comfort and cleanliness throughout. The breakfast included was absolutely wonderful, with a great variety of options even for vegans like myself. I loved starting my day at the communal table, enjoying the delicious coffee and chatting with fellow travelers. The hostel also prioritized being eco-friendly and was part of a local food co-op, which I admired. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the town and right beside the train and bus stations. I had a fantastic stay at Can Cocollona.

Location is a bit far from the city center, but this was known beforehand. It would be useful to have individual lamps at the beds.

The staff and other guests were friendly, making the atmosphere homey. The location was very convenient for connecting from bus to train, with lots of interesting sightseeing in walking distance. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, despite being shared with other guests.

The private room had external shared bathrooms, which I didn't expect. The bed was a bit soft and sloped, causing discomfort.

Our stay at Can Cocollona was fantastic. The location was super central, making it easy to explore the city. The homemade cake at breakfast was a delicious treat, and the coffee was great too. The communication with the owner was smooth, ensuring a hassle-free experience. we had a positive and memorable time at Can Cocollona.

One drawback we experienced was the heat in the rooms due to the number of people. Although there was a ventilator provided, another guest kept turning it off, which was a bit frustrating.

Additionally, the location was very central, only a 10-minute walk from the train/bus central station.
