We stayed at this beautiful old building after completing the Camino. The staff was welcoming and assisted us in getting taxis. The room had a monastic feel to it and the beds were super comfy. The breakfast was quite good with a variety of choices and the lounge and room service were a nice touch. The location was perfect, facing the cathedral and near plenty of shops and restaurants. a great place to stay for Camino pilgrims!

The location right opposite the cathedral couldn't have been better. The cleanliness of the rooms, with their beautiful views of the spires and mountains, made for a truly comfortable experience. The hotel facilities, including the lofty ceilinged refectories where we enjoyed delicious breakfasts and reasonably priced dinners, added to the charm of staying here. The staff were super-friendly and provided excellent service, even helping us organize taxis to the airport at fixed rate prices.

We loved the fantastic location of this hotel, situated right next to the Cathedral where we finished our Camino. It was so convenient to be directly in front of the cathedral, especially after a long day of walking. This allowed us to easily explore the city without having to worry about transportation or finding a restaurant. The hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel facilities and cleanliness were top-notch, and the breakfast provided was delicious.

I recently stayed at this lovely hotel for the completion of the Camino. The location is perfect, right beside the Cathedral, and the view from our second-floor room was stunning. The staff were incredibly helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel itself has a rich history and a wonderful atmosphere, making it a truly unique experience. Highly recommended for a memorable stay at the end of the Camino.

Hidden gem in historic Santiago, calm and tranquil atmosphere, excellent food, friendly and helpful staff, perfect location near main sites and pedestrian area, reasonable taxi prices for airport transfers.

As a solo traveler, I loved the historic charm of this renovated monastery. The rooms were comfortable and the showers/toilets were excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and the set three-course evening meal with wine was delicious. The location, just a short walk from the main square, was perfect. The atmosphere in the cathedral square with the traditional band playing was fantastic. a great place to stay for those seeking character and charm.

I stayed at a wonderful hotel opposite the Cathedral. The building itself is a converted monastery with lots of character. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old quarter. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially when I needed to extend my stay or had questions. The hotel also had a lovely courtyard garden and a decent restaurant with great value lunch and dinner options.

The location of the hotel is incredible, right next to the cathedral and within walking distance to all the tourist spots. The rooms are simple yet comfortable, with very comfortable beds and a well-refreshed daily. The breakfast is varied and substantial, with a good selection of fresh fruit. The building itself has a sense of history and the ambiance is great, with a common area and a bar with a fireplace. One reviewer enjoyed a wonderful view out of their window.

The tile floors in the hallways provided an amazing echo chamber, making it quite noisy when people walked or talked outside.

The old monastery atmosphere added to the overall charm, and the on-premise meal service was incredibly convenient, especially during the cold and rainy weather. The former abbey setting also added a metaphysical aura to our experience. We enjoyed having breakfast in the former refectory, surrounded by thoughtful pilgrims from all over the world. The lack of a TV in the room was actually a blessing, as we didn't need one in such a historic and captivating city like Santiago.

Couldn't stay longer.

We had the most amazing room overlooking the city and countryside. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom had all the essentials. The guy at reception was great and helped us when we had problems with the computer downstairs. I'll definitely recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and comfortable rooms.

Loved the prime location across from the cathedral - perfect for pilgrims. Simple Monk's quarters with fresh sheets and blankets, great for reflection. Heated towel rack in bathroom for laundry. Ambience is special, steeped in history. Very good breakfast and reasonable pilgrim dinner. Excellent service from reception, helped with airport taxis.

Felt more than at home, nothing was too much trouble.
