At Hostal Alvarez, we were warmly welcomed by the staff who provided a helpful map of the city and gave us recommendations for popular tourist spots, dining options, and shopping areas. They even allowed us to store our luggage free of charge for a few hours. The central location of the hostal made it easy for us to explore the city on foot, and our room was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the reliable wireless internet and the added value of a private bathroom. Despite the language barrier with some staff members, we did not encounter any major issues during our stay.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenient location near the bus station. Easy access to Naranco and a great starting point for Camino. Helpful staff, free luggage storage, and a map of the city were provided upon check-in.

The staff gave me a map with all the coolest tourist spots, showed me where to eat, drink, and shop. I could leave my luggage for free! Location was SUPER convenient, rooms were spacious with comfy beds, solid Wi-Fi, and a second door for privacy. The bathroom was nice. The staff was friendly, patient, and spoke decent English. Definitely a budget hotel with all necessary facilities, close to bars, restaurants, and attractions.
