The hostel was perfect for young people like us. It had a cute bar and offered breakfast and dinner on site. Safe parking was included, and it was conveniently located close to the trailhead for the Ruta de Cares hike.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the best aspects was the easy access to famous hiking trails in Picos de Europa, with some of the most famous trails just a short walk away. It was perfect for hikers like me, and I loved being able to start my day off with a beautiful hike.

While the staff were great, there was a language barrier as they didn't speak English. However, their warmth and dedication to their work made up for it.

The location is excellent for hiking the Cares Gorge trail and offers beautiful river views. The breakfast is filling and prepares you for a day of hiking. The rooms are clean and well-equipped. The staff are friendly and attentive. A great find for a stay in the area.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostal, which felt more like a hotel with its en-suite bathroom, TV, and heating. Despite the language barrier between the owners and myself, they went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. When I had an issue with my motorbike, they helped me with troubleshooting and even contacted the nearest BMW dealer on my behalf. I highly recommend Hostal Poncebos, especially for bikers looking for amazing roads and scenery.

The location was absolutely amazing! It is situated in a very picturesque area, surrounded by beautiful mountains and a clear blue river. I loved that it was so close to the funicular and within walking distance of various hiking trails. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and they even provided gluten-free options for breakfast for my son. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch and the facilities were great. it was a fantastic experience.
