Arriving late afternoon, I was pleased to find the manager at Hostal Real very helpful and understanding. Despite the restaurant not serving dinner until 9pm, he kindly provided me with a slice of tortilla to tide me over until then. The large and comfortable bedroom, although a little old-fashioned, provided a cozy retreat. The highlight was the excellent three-course "Menu Del Dia" for evening meal, which offered great value for money. Additionally, the reasonably priced, good wine added to the enjoyable dining experience. The icing on the cake was the hotel's own carpark at the rear, providing excellent free parking.

Also, on the outskirts of town, I found a nicely appointed, comfy room. Although the walls were somewhat thin, and I could hear activity from neighboring rooms in the early morning, the location was still convenient, with a 15-minute walk down to the city center.
