Metro station far, inconvenient location.

A little far from Bilbao but an enjoyable stay nevertheless. The temperature of the a/c wall monitor in the room was very difficult to adjust leaving no other option than to turn it off completely. The problem was resolved by a quick visit from one of your maintenance staff explaining the meaning of the dots and dashes on the monitor’s face. My friends next door experienced the same problem requiring another visit from maintenance.

The value for money at this hotel was great, and the room was incredibly comfortable. The location was nice and quiet, away from the city proper but with easy access to Bilbao and the ferry port. The staff were excellent, very professional and helpful throughout our stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Puerta De Bilbao Barakaldo. The location next to a retail park was convenient for shopping, and being near the Brittany Ferries terminal made our travel plans easier. The metro station nearby provided a quick connection to Bilbao city center. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The friendly staff provided excellent service, and the buffet-style breakfast offered a variety of delicious options. We also enjoyed the pool area and the playroom for the kids.

The hotel could improve on their communication regarding room arrangements for families with children.
