Stayed at a hotel in the center of town. the receptionist kindly carried my heavy bag upstairs. the room had a comfortable bed and was clean. I enjoyed the self-serve breakfast and appreciated that it was available for early departures. the hotel had good wifi and double glazing. the room had a nice view of the town square and the monastery, and even had a balcony. the bathroom was well-furnished and there was a space heater that we could control. the owners provided a generous self-serve breakfast. the staff, especially Isabel, were amazing and provided excellent customer service. the hotel was conveniently located, right on the Camino del Norte, with nearby bars and a grocery store. it was a great value for the money.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel San Marcus in Porta. Isabel, the host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She gave us a tour of the facility upon arrival and provided helpful information about nearby dining options and local markets. the room was spacious and modern, with a balcony offering a view of the monastery's towers. the bathroom was well-furnished and the room had a controllable space heater, which was a great benefit. the self-serve breakfast exceeded our expectations and the staff provided amazing customer service, even carrying our bags to our room. the location was central, with restaurants and bars just outside, and it was a short walk to the monastery.
