The rooms in this historic building were absolutely stunning - spacious, luxurious, and comfortable. The bathrooms were also spacious and well-appointed. the hotel's location was perfect, within easy walking distance to the bustling plaza where there were plenty of restaurants to choose from.

The expensive price of dinner at the hotel's dining room, which was empty when we visited. Instead, we opted to walk to the plaza for a more reasonably priced and delicious supper.

The hotel is in a stunning building, with tasteful furnishings that make it feel grand yet cozy. the location is perfect for those traveling by car, with easy access from the highway and a short walk to the town center. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even outside of regular hours.

The parking situation was a bit tricky, especially if you have a standard size sedan, as the access is awkward and the spaces narrow. be aware that if you have mobility issues, the loft rooms can be a challenge due to the two short flights of stairs.

Trujillo is a hidden gem in Extremadura, full of history and the birthplace of Fransisco Pizarro. The hotel, a converted Convent building, had a beautiful central courtyard. The room in the old part was large and comfortable with a well-equipped bathroom. The pool and surrounding area were a perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast had plenty of options and an excellent coffee maker. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
