I had an amazing stay at the hotel in the Gothic Quartier. The location was perfect, within walking distance to Las Ramblas and La Plaça Reial. A short walk in the opposite direction led me to La Barceloneta and the Port Cable Car, offering stunning views of the city on the way to Montjuïc. There were even events and concerts happening in the plaza right in front of the hotel during my stay. The spacious room had everything I needed, and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the convenience of being close to public transportation.

The hotel is conveniently located, near La Rambla and close to all major tourist sites. It is also in close proximity to the sea port, making it a great spot for exploring Barcelona. The rooms are clean and attractive, with some offering a small balcony overlooking the square and the port. The staff is helpful and accommodating, providing advice and marking routes on a map. The breakfast is great, offering plenty of choices for both vegetarians and meat eaters.

There is an additional charge for renting a safety box at the hotel.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Medinaceli for a week and had a fantastic time. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, offering us great suggestions for local attractions and providing us with directions. The location was perfect for exploring the Gothic quarter and the marina was just a stone's throw away with its beautiful walkway and fancy restaurants. The hotel itself was quiet, the rooms spacious, and the shower room was perfect. We also appreciated the two working lifts and the strong wifi connection. I highly recommend this hotel for any young or middle-aged couple looking for a great stay in Barcelona.

That the room was smaller than what we were originally told. However, after addressing the issue, they did give us a bigger room, although it could have been cleaner and the air conditioning wasn't great.
