The Parador De Caceres boasts a beautiful historic setting, with a well-maintained room featuring comfortable beds and air conditioning. Breakfast had a delicious spread with various choices, and I especially enjoyed the lovely terrace for dining, enhancing the overall experience.

One room had a lovely balcony that added to the experience. I enjoyed a walking tour of the medieval streets. I felt connected to history during my stay, as I often seek out places with rich cultural backgrounds.

Staying at the Parador de Caceres was a dream! The breakfast buffet was the highlight, featuring local specialties like Torta del Casar. Waking up to the sound of nuns singing from the nearby convent added a magical touch.

However, locating the hotel from the parking area was a bit of a trek, especially under the heat of the sun. Our room was cozy, but the air conditioning struggled a bit, making evenings feel warmer than preferred.

Staying here was a delight, as I loved being just a few steps away from the stunning Pro-Cathedral Church of Santa Maria and a less than 5-minute walk to the beautiful Paseo de Canovas, a perfect area for city strolling and park views. the staff were incredibly helpful, particularly at the restaurant which had a lovely terrace overlooking a quaint courtyard that really enhanced my dining experience.

The room was super comfortable, with a four-poster bed, and I really appreciated the sitting area and small balcony. Breakfast was a real treat, with all kinds of cheeses, Iberico ham, and sausages. I felt pampered, especially with the bath robes and slippers provided.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it still felt worth it for the experience we had.

Request guidance from the staff on navigating the narrow streets, especially if driving a larger vehicle. their tips made our arrival much smoother.

Limited parking space!!! Navigating narrow streets can be confusing!!! The café area lacks charm and feels too sterile for a historic setting!!! Some rooms could use an update and improved lighting!!!

I appreciated the well-situated accommodation in the historical area. I enjoyed the large breakfast selection every morning. It was nice to discover the nearby Tower of Bujaco, and the winding streets of the old city felt like a journey through time. Another highlight was the warm service I received from the staff when I mentioned my partner's birthday. Overall, it made for a memorable visit. I am from Italy and enjoy exploring new cultures with my partner.
