It is also just a short distance from the main train station Zurich, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. the hotel provides a card for free bus travel within the town, making getting around hassle-free. The rooftop cafe offers a stunning view, and the staff are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service.

We needed a quick stop in Interlaken and Merkur - West was perfect. the area is less seedy than the other station. Lots of food options and tourist souvenirs around the area. Front desk staff was very nice. the room on the back side was so quiet and comfortable. A great value and recommend for a short stay in Interlaken.

This hotel is a hidden gem, located exactly across the station. It is an amazing value for money with good rooms, basic amenities, and an excellent breakfast served with great views to the mountains.

I had a great time staying at Merkur - West in Interlaken. the location was perfect, right next to the West Rail Station, making it easy to explore Bern and other beautiful places nearby. the breakfast options were fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh fruit, hot dishes, and delicious breads. I also loved the early morning views from the breakfast salon, it was a great way to start my day. I enjoyed watching the hang-gliders landing at the nearby park, it was such a colorful and beautiful sight.
