I had an incredibly nice holiday at Petit Hostel Palacio Real. As a woman traveling with a 2-month-old baby, security and cleanliness were top priorities for me, and the hostel exceeded my expectations in both. the staff were exceptionally helpful, and the location, just a 3-minute walk from the metro, made exploring the city with my little one a breeze. the noise-free bunk beds, private shower and toilet, along with the convenient light and socket on the bed, provided a serene environment for relaxation. While a terrace or garden would be a nice addition in the future, the absence did not detract from the overall experience. Being situated close to landmarks like the Parque del Retiro, Plaza de Oriente, and Royal Palace of Madrid, allowed for easy family outings, further enhancing our bonding experience.

I always return for weekends. At my first stay, staff helped me with shopping tips. Everything I need is here — Free Wi-Fi, Air conditioning, Laundry, Game room, Welcome drink. No smoking. Perfect!

The hostel's design was cool, and the staff was super friendly. I loved the privacy the beds offered, with curtains and big shelves. the location was a total win, with easy access to the subway station, a mall, and historical sites just a short walk away.

While my overall experience was great, there were a few minor downsides. the bathrooms could use some improvement, as water leakage made them a bit messy.
