This hotel is perfectly located right on the beach in El Medano, offering a beautiful view of the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms, although small, were clean and comfortable, with basic amenities provided. The breakfast provided was satisfying, setting us up for a day of activities on the beach.

The hotel is in a great location, directly by the sea and right on the beach. It is also conveniently located next to the windsurf center, making it perfect for those looking to enjoy water sports. The rooms have their own balconies with furniture, offering a nice view. The hotel offers free parking for guests and has storage available for surf gear and bikes. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, with a mix of cooked and cold options, pastries, and fruit.

Some guests have complained about cleanliness issues, including finding bugs in their rooms and mold in the bathrooms.

stayed in El Medano before, but Playa Sur Tenerife exceeded expectations. Amazing staff, beautiful rooms, and a wonderful breakfast by the pool. The beach and a lovely town are just a short walk away. A truly charming place.

During our stay at Hotel Playa Sur, we were delighted by the stunning location right on the beach. The hotel is also conveniently connected to the charming town of El Medano, allowing us to take leisurely walks along the boardwalk. Being situated on the edge of the nature reserve provided us with excellent opportunities for invigorating walks, runs, and breathtaking sunrises. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, and the friendly reception staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

We had a great romantic escape at this resort! Another great feature was the private parking, which made getting around so much easier. Plus, the location was ideal - we were just a short walk away from the beach and cute local restaurants. the pool also looked nice, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use it.

The limited room facilities were probably the worst aspect - the TV had no English channels and there was no guide to channels. some of the staff didn't speak great English, which made communication a bit difficult at times.

I recently stayed at Hotel Playa Sur in El Medano for a few days. The staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and multilingual, making communication easy for guests from different countries. The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the beach and just a short walk away from charming restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. The pool, although small, looked inviting. Additionally, the hotel provides free private parking.

Great place on the beach! Playa Sur Tenerife has it all - a beautiful location with Montana Roja and the ocean to one side, and a sea-shore boardwalk with cafes, restaurants, street musicians, and shops to the other. The casual atmosphere and friendly staff make it a delight to stay here. The breakfast is great, and the good internet connection allows for remote work. We initially booked for just a day but ended up extending our stay for a whole week. We are definitely planning to come back!
