I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel in Santo Tomas called Gran Melia. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and efficient, even helping us secure a room upgrade for our honeymoon. the room itself, particularly Room 205, was like a dream with its incredible sea view and cozy balcony. the hotel's attention to detail in terms of design and decoration is truly impressive, from the terracotta pottery lamp to the well-designed dressing cupboards. the restaurant, Nivi, offered delicious dinners with a range of options, and the service was quick and efficient.

The hotel boasts a peaceful and tranquil location, perfect for a relaxing mini vacation. Guests can enjoy evening entertainment from 9 until 10 in the restaurant or on the terrace. The rooms are clean and the staff provide excellent service. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate, and the hotel is conveniently located next to the beach and a couple of restaurants.

The hotel has some issues with flies in the restaurant, which can be off-putting for guests.

Great hotel with stunning views and amazing staff. the room was well-cleaned and well-maintained. the location is fantastic with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. the food was delicious and fresh as well. the hotel had fast Wi-Fi, making it easy to stay connected.

The pool area lacked atmosphere and the sunbed situation was competitive, often requiring guests to collect their own loungers. the air conditioning could have been stronger and the flies in the outdoor dining areas were a bit of a nuisance.

This hotel provided me with a luxurious stay that met all my needs. the exclusive amenities, including the Spa & wellness centre, sauna, swimming pool, and outdoor jacuzzi exceeded my expectations. the beach access was just steps away and the beauty treatments were divine. the treatment room was peaceful and the sun terrace offered breathtaking views of the sea. the restaurant and bar/lounge area served delicious food and drinks.

the limited number of guests that could use them made it difficult to secure a spot.

The breakfast was phenomenal, offering a wide variety of delicious options that satisfied my taste buds every morning. the location was perfect, with beautiful views of the ocean and easy access to the town.

Our room temperature was uncomfortably hot, and the in-room temperature control didn't work properly. Opening the window to cool down the room let bugs in, which affected our sleep quality.

We recently had a wonderful short break at this hotel. The location is perfect, with stunning sea and beach views. The decor is calming and cool, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide range of options. The hotel also offers morning exercises and enjoyable evening entertainment. it was a perfect getaway destination for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

There is limited activities outside the hotel and a car is necessary to explore the local vicinity.
