Its location on a quiet side street, not far from the beautiful beach of Negombo, is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff are friendly, the basic amenities are provided, and the rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and a double bed. The breakfast, included in the rate, is served with pretty good quality of food.

I had a fantastic stay during Christmas at this hotel! the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the ambiance was beautiful with lots of artwork around. the staff was very kind and helpful, and the food was delicious, surpassing my expectations. the location was also perfect, with the main street and beach within walking distance. I also enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, especially during the holiday season.

The only downside was that the shower didn't have a lot of pressure, but it still provided warm water. Despite this small inconvenience, it didn't affect my overall enjoyment of the stay.

The Blue Elephant stood out among other hotels in Negombo with its cozy and uniquely decorated rooms. The location was peaceful yet central, and the staff went above and beyond to help me with my bicycle task. Truly a ten plus!

During our romantic escape, we were delighted by the comfortable and cozy room we stayed in. the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast provided at the hotel was delicious, offering a variety of options to choose from.

There were a few aspects of our stay that could have been improved. we were disappointed by the lack of laundry and ironing services available at the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The best aspects were the cleanliness, hotel facilities, transportation, and the location in a side street a short walk from the main resort area. The hotel was very clean and the facilities were excellent. We especially enjoyed the enclosed shower and the high ceilings in the rooms, which made them feel spacious. The small pool was nice, especially when the ocean was stormy. The hotel is in a funny location but is not far from the beach, and it's also close to the international airport in Colombo, making it convenient for transportation.
